Great location
The queen size bed was 2single beds pushed together, the room looks and feels like a YMCA/Hostel,rooms do not look anything like the quality of the lobby.check in staff very good! Breakfast quality very poor not worth the price.parking is very poor, lack of spaces.this hotel is in dire need of upgrade all around.

Good value no frills hotel
Stayed 3 nights mid week in January. The hotel is currently undergoing some renovation so the service lift is being used for guests but this didn't cause any problems and there weren't any annoying noises. The hotel is fairly basic in that the rooms don't have AC but they are clean and the complimentary breakfast was more than adequate. Free parking on site is good to have. Location was good with plenty of restaurants etc within walking distance. Biggest downside was the incredibly small wifi limit per day of 30 mins or 100 MB. But overall very good value for money.

Clean accommodations with a friendly staff.
This hotel, while older, was clean with a friendly staff. It was close to the iSite visitor center, from which our tours left. Also a walk down the hill resulted in many shopping and eating opportunities. I would recommend it to travelers as it was a comfortable stay at a very reasonable price.

Super friendly staff, good location, small room.
Located on Willis St. it makes for great location and some of the best prices in the area. In my experience is hard to find cheap accommodation in the center of the city. All the front desk staff were super friendly and attentive. The hotel is OK. The room is quite basic but clean. A little bit small with a bed, TV and a desk. All the usual amenities: hair dryer, toiletries, laundry (surcharge), etc… All the amazing attractions of the city center area are within walking distance (including Cuba St. which is a must!). The breakfast begins at 6:30am in weekdays and 7am to 10am on weekends; On Saturday we decided to sleep in and with about 2 and a half hours left there was no coffee and some meats had already been completely consumed. They don’t seem to replenish some items quickly enough, it almost felt it was on a first come first serve basis. One major turnoff was the parking lot. Is EXTREMELY tight. There’s only about 8 spots available on a narrow driveway. If you rent a car, please take the 100% protection from the rental company as scratches and dents are likely. Having said all these, is was really nice to have complimentary breakfast and parking on site! I like the overall experience. If budget is not really an issue for you, then, there are better options.

Good clean simple budget accommodation
Located in an apartment/small grocery area. Staff unfailingly helpful and friendly. Room is spare and a bit small, but quite clean & fresh. Small refrigerator, electric kettle & tea/coffee things, flat-screen TV, ironing board; no microwave or A/C. Not the best interior soundproofing, sometimes heard adjoining rooms. We had no car, walking to Cuba Street area (many cafes, pubs, restaurants & shops) took 5-10 minutes depending on pace; always felt safe, always others walking about. Takes awhile to learn city streets, but by day 2 we could walk from hotel across town to tourist center, waterfront, museums (these are all in different directions) in 15-20 minutes. Convenient enough & the fair price allowed us to spend a bit more on cafe stops, meals & sights (museums are free). Would only not recommend it for people who need elegance or immediate proximity to "the action", or those without a car who have difficulty walking.
