Our stay in The Coast hotel was really amazing. The staff are really nice and accommodating to our needs. The hotel itself is amazing with a pool and beach access. The hotel is close to downtown tamarindo which is a plus if you’re looking for some peace and relaxation away from the busy downtown. We enjoyed our experience and will definitely come back if we get the chance.

Perfect spot on the quiet end of the beach. The rooms are simple but beautiful. We had an ocean view on the second floor, room 204. The large patio was a perfect spot to have breakfast and spend time listening to the waves. We booked last minute due to a nasty abnb and we couldn’t have gotten more lucky. Pool was great and everyone at the resort was very friendly. 10/10 would stay again as soon as possible.

It was such an amazing stay. We’re missing the morning breakfasts :) Highly recommend if you want a quiet place to rest, close enough to restaurants, grocery stores and is literally on the beach. Very close to the beach, regularly cleaned and access to water within steps. Food choice for lunch and dinner was great (many restaurants within walking distance). Staff very very helpful in arranging for anything you might need. Highly recommend this hotel!

Very nice small hotel with comfortable rooms right on the beach. They bring you a nice breakfast every morning to the room. It is a little further like a 15 minute walk to the centre of Tamarindo but many options next to it.

Five stars all-around. Literally 60 seconds to our beautiful back-door beach. Extremely helpful and available staff, a special shout-out to Diejon! The included breakfast was healthy and tasty. Room was meticulously maintained daily during our extended stay. Did not miss on-site dining since highly rated restaurants are right across the street. Our wonderful experience in Costa Rica is calling us back to the Coast Beachfront Hotel.

The Coast is a special property! The front desk staff are friendly, professional and always willing to help. The rooms are clean, air conditioned and even have a dehumidifier, beds and linens are very comfortable, the breakfasts are an added bonus and so good. The grounds are well maintained by a caring staff - everyone there works so hard! It was a wonderful stay and incredibly hard to leave.

The staff was extremely helpful throughout our stay. Luckily our villa happened to be ready a little early when we arrived. Breakfast was delivered promptly to our room at the time we requested. We were even able to get breakfast pre-packaged the night before one of our tours that had an early pickup. Being steps away from the beach was one of the best perks as well. The location isn’t too far from the central part of town, but a good distance away where it was nice and quiet during our stay — until nature sounds woke us up every morning, which wasn’t a bad thing.
