Great location in the middle of the town, easy acces to Beach and Town restaurants, safe, good and friendly staff. My only concern is the water that sometimes is very low pressure and sometimes even not running water but i believe as they explained is a City problem not a hotel problem.

While the staff was very friendly, the location convenient, the private suite was beautiful and I enjoyed the night market activity and welcome drinks, there were several issues during my stay. In five days, my room was only cleaned once and they left a dirty rag on my nightstand. There was no gas in the ovens to cook, the TV didn't work, there was a mini bar menu but no mini bar, there was a coffee machine in my room but no coffee, I asked twice to have the light and tap fixed in my bathroom and nothing happened. The kitchen was missing several things like sharp knives, cutting boards, pens and stickers to label food, no "free" food section which is very common in hostels, basics like oil and pepper. Also, I asked for information on an activity and never heard back. At checkout, they said I hadn't paid when I already had. This is a party hostel and pretty loud so great if you're a social butterfly, otherwise not so much. It was a shame so many things went wrong! Not sure I would recommend.

A few disappointments. It's a hostel and you have to hide or walk far to smoke a cigarette or drink a beer. The restaurant is very costy and they don't allow us to sit by the pool with our own food or drinks. Bathrooms were not so clean and our room in 4 days was never cleaned.

The owners hang out all day talking together which makes you feel unwelcome. The girl that checked us in said there was a welcome drink at 7 every day but they offered us a 2-1 deal instead . When I saw the girl that checked us in she said it was a mistake and then 2 glasses with brown stuff suddenly appeared which was unacceptable in looks and taste, the place could be so nice but it is not. It’s close to the beach but really expensive in the area. Which is why a communal kitchen was nice but they closed that down on our last day so they can sell you a 35$ meal multiple times a day. No thanks greedy little man.

My private room was not clean, and there were stains all over my sheets. I requested new sheets, and the new sheets had stains on them as well. A friend I met there was staying in the shared dorm and got bed bugs from staying here. My AC was not working for the first two days of my stay. I requested for my AC to get fixed, and the maintenance man came and left me with no remote and the temperature on 17 degree C(62 degree F). It was a nice location, and things to do but definitely not worth the price for a private room that was dirty on the walls, power in and out, stains (looks like bed bug stains), and other stains on the sheets when I requested new ones.

No geral minha estadia foi boa. A localização é perfeita e é possível fazer tudo a pé no centro de tamarindo. Tem um supermercado em frente ao hostel tambem o que foi ótimo. Minha unica observaçao é que falta um pouco de manutençao nos quartos. Tive um problema com o box do banheiro que enchia toda vez que tomava banho. Reclamei 3x até que me trocaram de quarto.

Insatisfeita, ao chegarmos não haviam toalhas no quarto e nos reportamos ao funcionário, que nos informou que não haviam toalhas limpas, somente no outro dia, tive toalhas de banho. Mas isso não foi tudo, no quarto a central de ar condicionado não tinha controle remoto,dessa forma a central não diminuía ou aumentava a temperatura, bem como não era desligada. Apenas no último dia, conseguiram achar um controle compatível com a central de ar condicionado. O hotel tem uma tendência mais para o público jovem, então se você gosta de sossego, não é um ambiente favorável.
