The staff were helpful, kind, and the room was very clean. The biggest issue is that the bathroom is directly in the room, with the toilet being stall-style. The shower, sink, and stall toilet are separated from the sleeping area by a curtain. The beds come with a single pillow and when asked for an additional one we were told no. The location is walking distance from the old town and train station, and there are plenty of food/dinner options nearby including a grocery store. Lucerne was amazing, and if your only goal for accommodation is to have a place to sleep and clean up, ibis will cover the basics. If you want any creature comforts, somewhere else may be ideal.

My husband and I stayed here while traveling to Lucerne for our honeymoon. It is in a great location! Close to downtown Lucerne, Chapel Bridge, restaurants, bars and the train station. If you plan to rent a car like we did, their parking lot is fairly small and an extra cost. The staff was very friendly and nice. The basic room we stayed in was small and did not include a fridge, but very clean.
