Great property for a family staycation, or vacation. Property grounds were beautiful, check in was easy, the slides were great for the kids (and adults), and the lazy river was just peaceful and easy to float with all. Beds were comfortable, we enjoyed the balcony and lobby area was great for meeting with other family. Not a great breakfast selection on the property, would just recommend ordering room service. Our only negative experience during our stay was Tia Carmen, service was not good and food was not great.

Charged to sit by the pool, decided to self park so had to walk 10 minutes to and from car, restaurants are expensive, room was expensive but because nothing is included it’s was not worth the price nothing and there were so many children so it’s more family spot, beautiful views though so that’s the only thing you get customer was very delayed do not recommend

Beautiful property, genuinely great amenities, and an excellent meal at Tia Carmen. Service was the gap. Our pool waiter was unfindable for an hour, and when I asked at the bar, the response was a laugh rather than help. Tia Carmen's food was the highlight of the trip but the service there was cold. The exceptions were real: the holiday coordinator who secured our reservation was excellent, several front desk staff were genuinely helpful, and the manager at the pool restaurant was instant in her offer to help (sharp contrast from the bar staff). Good stay overall, but the service does not match what I've experienced at JW CDMX, and it is a step below the Fairmont Princess.

Room was clean, beds are awful. Not very comfy and the pillows are terrible!! They’re the feather down pillows and flatten out immediately. Definitely bring your own pillows if you value your sleep. They were also doing construction right outside our building and didn’t mention it at all during check-in. The restaurant Tia Carmen’s was yummy but $44 for a brunch buffet is steep, especially considering a mimosa was like $18. The pool areas were not being cleaned as well as I’d expect for a place that charges $300+ a night. Parking is also $30/day on top of the Resort fees.
