Hotel Hell
Absolutely horrific experience! There was no one at the front desk when we arrived. I had to wait 15 min for someone to come. While we waited I was actually scared to wait outside from all the very shady looking people that appeared to be with hookers. He gave me a key to an occupied room. The stairwell had vomit and urine stains. The smell of stale cigarettes lingered. We got a refund however it was now 2 am since we had a late flight. Very difficult to find a room in the middle of the night. It was an awful experience. I wouldn’t stay there if it was free.

One to Remember
As basic as they get. The room was clean enough and bed was okay. The bathroom ceiling was badly water stained and the toilet paper holder was half out of the wall. The door had a good half inch of clearance from the sill. Big enough for nasties to easily get in. I would give this an okay if the neighborhood wasn't so unsavory.

Don’t judge a hotel by its exterior!
Sure the hotel looks dated, and maybe in need of a refresh, but for what it costs, this hotel was excellent. The service was great, staff members were pleasant. I had an issue getting cold water to my shower, maintenance took about 2 hours but they were quick to fix it once they found the issue. I did not get to try the restaurant but I saw other reviews saying it was good. Overall, I would stay here again and I think others should as well.

To summarize quickly - this is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I've done a lot of traveling in my life, but I have never seen anything like this. If you are thinking about saving a buck booking this place, please take my advice and look elsewhere. If there was a 0-star option, I would put that as my rating. Waited 3 hours past the scheduled time to check in. Never got housekeeping service for our entire 4-day stay. The room was disgusting. Massive stains all over the carpet (pictures attached), every surface was filthy, and our bathroom tub had dirty towels in it. The bed was worse than an air mattress. In the middle of our stay, our shower stopped working, and after calling the office to get someone to fix it, they said they had to shut the water off to the building and gave no reasoning. Our water was off for more than half a day. Just save yourself and avoid this place at all costs.
