Solo trip. The place is lovely. The drive to restaurants and other locations is about 30 minutes. Falling asleep to the stream is wonderful.

Very nice. The cabin was very relaxing. The bed was like you melted away in it. Layed down and was out in about 3 mins.

The cabins at healing springs are as the name goes, healing. 😇 cozy, quaint, Appalachian charm. The actual spring water is iron and mineral-rich. Took home a few gallons and should have stocked more. My dog loved the property as well. Don’t forget to utilize their fire pits to roast marshmallows and gaze upon the Appalachian night stars and constellations.

If you are looking for a place to completely unplug and relax here's the place. The cabin I stayed in had no tv or radio, and that was exactly what I wanted and needed.

Wonderful place. We really needed to relax and boy was this the place! Not only that but I swear the healing water works! Quaint with a babbling brook and peaceful. Highly recommend Heading Waters Cottages.

The cabin was beautiful. When we arrived, check in was smooth and easy. I was surprised as I had thought the cabin I had booked had 3 beds so I must have been the one mistaken but regardless we made it work and it was fine as it was a fast trip, not a long stay. Otherwise, it was easy, comfortable, quiet, like being at home but quieter. LOL. Wish I had more time to spend there (and the $ to do it LOL)

I am sorry. Not what I expected. I am not a camper and this was a step up from a tent. Maybe that is how it is supposed to be. But, it was not for me. The best thing about the cabin for me was the bed. The TV room furniture was awful. Will never go back.

My wife and i stayed in cabin ten for three nights. We were wanting to find a quiet place to relax for a few days. We found exactly that! We drank a lot of the spring water and made excellent coffee with it. Our desires to find a place of rest in a quiet place was a complete success.
Management supplied a great map of the area upon check in, showing places of interest in the area (including the famous spring on site). We went out to explore the area every day and relaxed in the cabin as well.
If you are looking for an action packed vacation, there are other places to consider. If unplugging from the race is on the agenda, this is a great place for success.
Our appreciation goes out to the management of this property. Thank You :)

Very nice cabins well appointed furnishings and bedding. Quaint and rustic. I stayed in the cabins Friday but since no cabin was available Saturday they did have a tree house... Yes a treehouse... Available on Saturday. I really didn't feel like finding a different place so I took the tree house... But I didn't read the description. I just figured it was the same as the cabin but a treehouse. And I'm leaving 5 stars because they shouldn't pay the price for my hurry to book the room before knowing what I was booking. What didn't I like? For the most part it's this. The treehouse had no electricity whatsoever. There's a few other details but basically that's it. I really needed it to charge my phone my power Bank and my bt speaker. I was able to charge some of my stuff in the bathroom which was located at the back of the cabins. There's other things I can pick on but that would be gratuitous. If I go again I would pick the cabin. But I think you really need to see the treehouse because it did have a very cool and unique vibe. Very tree house -y. It might be exactly what you want!
