Friendly folks, over priced alcohol and pet fees
Had to pay $75 for our 5 lb dog. Floors were linoleum so no way our dog was going to hurt them. Alcoholic drinks in casino was $8.00 each and could not taste any alcohol in them. My first impressions of this place is it is a rip off however the folks here are very friendly and helpful. Others Casino’s we have gone to, for the drinks and pet fees they was a little less than half as opposed to what Harrah’s was at this location. The rooms themselves was about average price. My issues with this place is the pet fees and alcoholic drinks was ridiculously overpriced. Doubtful we will go back, at least anytime soon.

I would have much rather not smelled cigarettes in the hotel room. Was told it was non smoking but someone was smoking and we could smell it. Extremely unpleasant when you’re trying to sleep. Definitely would not stay in mountain tower again after finding out it was the original hotel after we checked out. The property was clean our room and bathroom were clean but hard to get past smoke smell

Rooms are Okay
The resort as a whole was wonderful. Our room was subpar. Upon check in we reported that our bathroom door was damaged and would not close. It was not fixed until the next morning. They offered a $25 voucher for a $220 per night room. In addition the room had some minor wall damage. It was livable but we expected more. Friendly advice don't upgrade the room for the better view. From most rooms you can see the mountains, but from most rooms you can still see the clutter below. Our upgraded room came with a nice view of the parking garage.
