"Location is perfect and a nice walk into the main shopping area.
Lots of local restaurants and bars and very close the the race course if you are visiting for the races.
Hotel its self is very good and the gym is perfect for what I needed it for on the move. "
"Loved staying here, very clean and tidy and great for the kids. Lovely breakfast and evening meal in the restaurant. Nice and quiet and a fantastic location.
Only downside was the lift wasn’t working. Managed fine up two flights of stairs but with the kids and their many bags it would have been easier in the lift. And there was a slight gap under the shower screen so the bathroom floor ended up a little wet after a shower."
"We stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I had booked a superior king bedroom but they had upgraded us to a suite which was so special, there was a card in the room congratulating us on our 16th anniversary. Such lovely touches to make the experience truly memorable. The bed was huge, comfortable and clean. The suite was spacious with a great view of the beautiful city of Chester.
The breakfast was very tasty from the freshly squeezed orange juice to the home baked pastries.
I would recommend the Chester Grosvenor to everyone and anyone, particularly if you are celebrating something and want a memorable experience.
Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable. "
"It is not often that I feel compelled to leave a review but Hotel Indigo deserves the recognition. We stayed for two nights, a busy Saturday and a quieter Sunday. Checking in was easy, although car parking is some distance away and worth noting if walking is an issue. The room was lovely, beautifully presented and with free drinks and snacks complimentary. The bathroom was modern, spotless and the walk-in shower was huge. Breakfast both days was excellent with lots of choice. We had Sunday dinner and it was the most incredible roast either of us had ever eaten. We had drinks in the very pleasant bar area. What really makes this hotel stand out are the staff. It is really noticeable how good they all are. Every single one of them went over and beyond with their service, friendliness and attention to detail. Even watching the talented chefs clearing up after service was commendable. Thank you for a wonderful stay and thank you to the staff at Hotel Indigo, you do an amazing job."
"Very friendly staff and lovely restaurant/ bar. Bit confusing as a walking couple arriving at the station and trying to find the hotel but when leaving found the easy route back to the train station. If researched better would have been easy."
"The whole hotel was perfect, it's pictures and website do not do it justice. The decor throughout was flawless and well matched, absolutely no tired areas. The pool and spa areas were spacious and well thought out, we really loved the relaxing Japanese gardens. We are at the Palm restaurant in the evening, the wonderful food and cocktails, coupled with the pianist left us totally relaxed. Love this hotel, can't recommend it enough "
