A very nice place to stay!
We enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was just as expected and promised. We had 2 rooms (6 people), and unlike some European hotels, the room that was for 4 people actually had beds and room enough for 4. The rooms were nicely decorated - quaint, clean and comfortable. The restaurant/pub was very nice with good food. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

Arrived late evening and didn’t go out to local area but really happy with hotel so didn’t miss anything, would definitely stay here again. Food was homemade and fantastic.

Quiet friendly hotel
A lovely quiet, friendly hotel inside it has retained the old world feel of its facade. This was my 4th visit and I have loved them all; as a female travelling alone I feel very welcome and safe. The rooms are quaint and although smallish for a hotel room mine had a four poster bed with room either side to get in and out. The breakfast is good with a reasonable choice of hot and/or cold, I particularly liked the bacon and eggs.

Loved my first visit to beautiful Chester Friendly hotel in great location. Bedroom and en suite were very small, cramped and could do with upgrading but ok for one night.
