"A great hotel right by the ocean. Has several restaurants on the ground floor and neighbouring for plenty of dining options. The room was clean and well appointed. It had a nice balcony over looking the ocean. People do seem to feed the native birds it seems, so expect visitors if you go to sit outside.
The bar/ restaurant at reception was a nice surprise. Friendly staff and a good menu with a great drinks selection. Friday and Saturday nights they had solo acoustic musicians playing that added a great atmosphere.
The beach is across the road with lifesavers if you want to go swimming and a popular walking spot too. "

"Absolutely loved my room. Huge comfortable bed, yet the room was very spacious. Decor was very nice and the room had a lovely feel about it. Bathroom with separate toilet were clean and the again, the decor was very good, very clean. Everything needed was provided, toiletries, tea, coffee, water. Breakfast was included although on this occasion I did not have breakfast. I did get a meal with room service on checking in during inclement weather which arrived neatly foil on a plate and a fast and friendly gentleman delivered it. It was delicious. Would absolutely stay again if in the area. "
"We came to stay as kids had a concert at WIN Stadium. Perfect 3 min walk to stadium & beach with so many dining options at our door step.
Parking was crazy but Wollongong is hard to find parking on any day. Wld be good to be told there is parking available at back when making booking.
On check in Staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms were so clean and beds were super comfy.
As for people complaining about late noise - you are staying a pub so that is expected right. Wld highly recommend if in town for an overnight stay"
