Heavenly - One of the Best
We arrived on Mykonos a day early and booked a room here last minute. What a surprise! The staff was so welcoming and friendly. The hotel design is so tranquil and elegant. The pool is stunning. The rooms are so clean and so modern. The location is superb. Elia is a fun, beautiful crowded beach. Even though the hotel is just steps away, it’s totally removed from the beach crowd. Again, so tranquil. The restaurant is beautiful, open air, and right on the beach with gorgeous views. The awesome staff was so accommodating and let us use all the facilities after we checked out. They even provided a shower and bathroom for us to use after we went to the beach that day before we moved to our next destination. (We didn’t want to leave!) We used their transfer service twice and our driver was so informative about the island. We mentioned that the staff seemed so happy to be working there, and he told us that the owners take very good care of their employees. Happy employees means happy guests, and it shows. Truly one of the best hotels at which I’ve ever stayed.

The property is beautiful and the staff is friendly. The location is excellent, and the beach is wonderful.
However, we had a major issue with a persistent sewer smell in our room. Although the staff made daily attempts to fix it, the problem was never resolved, and we were not offered a room change. When we checked out and asked to speak with a manager, no one was available. A few days later, the hotel responded that they had checked the room and found no smell, and offered us a discount for a future stay. Since we are not from Greece and do not plan to return soon, this solution is not meaningful.
For a 5-star hotel, I would have expected the situation to be handled with much more care and accountability.

Aus Google Rezension: Wir haben knapp eine Woche im Elia Mykonos Resort verbracht und uns als kleine Familie rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Hotel ist modern, sehr sauber und wird sichtbar gut gepflegt. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns das Personal. Alle waren durchweg freundlich, aufmerksam und unglaublich herzlich im Umgang mit unserem sieben Monate alten Baby. Auch bei anderen Familien mit Kleinkindern haben wir diese liebevolle Atmosphäre erlebt.
Jeden Morgen wurden wir persönlich mit Handschlag und Namen begrüßt. Diese unerwartet persönliche Geste hat uns ehrlich gefreut.
Das Frühstück wurde à la carte serviert, war qualitativ hochwertig und stets frisch. Besonders dankbar waren wir für das jederzeit verfügbare, kostenfreie frische Obst und Gemüse für unsere Tochter – auch dann, wenn wir nicht im Restaurant gegessen haben. Wir mussten uns um ihre Beikost keine Sorgen machen.
Die Liegen am Strand sind für Hotelgäste kostenfrei, und wir konnten jeden Tag Plätze in der ersten Reihe nutzen. Zwar kamen morgens einige Busse mit Kreuzfahrtgästen an den Strand, aber Anfang Juni war es nie überfüllt. Es war auch nicht störend, sondern unterstreicht eher, wie schön der Elia Beach ist.
Insgesamt war es ein ruhiger und entspannter Aufenthalt mit vielen kleinen Details, die einen großen Unterschied machen.
Wir sind anschließend nach Naxos weitergereist, um dort mehr von der ursprünglichen griechischen Kultur zu erleben. Trotzdem vermissen wir das Hotel jetzt schon.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.

La plage de l’hôtel est une des plus belles de l’île, il y manque peut-être juste un peu de musique, on y trouve des masseuses qui massent à merveille pour 50€
Malheureusement la piscine n’est pas chauffée
L’hôtel organise des événements qui ne sont pas ouverts aux hôtes et qui du coup sont très bruyants ( c’est arrivé une fois )
Je reviens sur le personnel vraiment très sympathique que je recommande vraiment

Fantastic hotel located at the best beach we visited in the island. Amazing breakfast and very good restaurant, with excellent service.
The pool is very beautiful and the hotel is very well designed. Once in the hotel, you will not want to leave it!! The only thing should be improved in order to be 10000% is the acoustic (we woke up with the sound of water passing by the pipe of next door room when other guests used their bathroom).

Given the remote location and limited transportation options, adding free airport transfer and shuttle to Mykonos town would definitely make this hotel more attractive to customers.

Nous sommes partis pour une semaine en famille début juillet. L'hôtel Elia est très bien, propre, accueillant, personnel sympathique et disponible, nourriture excellente et très charismatique avec ses chambres qui ressemblent à des petites maisons. L'endroit est idyllique. La mer est transparente, mais l'eau est un peu froide les premières minutes. Il y a eu beaucoup de vent, je ne sais pas si c'est toujours le cas. Cela ne nous a pas trop gêné et cela permet de maintenir une température agréable, mais parfois il est quand même un peu violent. Dans les points négatifs, je mentionne la mer. En effet, avec des enfants en bas âge, il faut être très vigilant, car la profondeur est rapidement de 2 à 3 mètres. De plus, je n'ai pas trouvé la température de l'eau aussi agréable qu'à Ibiza par exemple. Je le répète l'endroit où est situé l'hôtel Elia est magnifique, mais il est également désertique. Il faut prendre le bus pendant 20-30 minutes pour aller à Mykonos. A nouveau avec une famille et sans voiture de location, c'est pas idéal. Quant à l'hôtel, il manque un bon réseau wifi, une piscine et de l'animation tant en journée qu'en soirée. Le coût de la vie est relativement élevé. Etant en famille, je n'ai pas pu constater le côté festif de Mykonos, mais concernant l'hôtel Elia, je recommande d'y aller plutôt en couple qu'en famille. Idéal pour se reposer dans ce coin de paradis.

This place is an undiscovered gem. I can’t believe it isn’t 5 star. After touring Mykonos and seeing other options for our stay—we seriously felt like we enjoyed ourselves far more than anyone else on the island. Being On The beach was a rare offering on the island. Rooms are simple and elegantly decorated, great bedding and nice bath linens. Beach towels provided. (Only thing-we Americans are in love with our washcloths. 😅 but it wasn’t a problem at all). Having an oceanfront restaurant at our fingertips was something that we enjoyed offer. Best pork gyros that we came across👍. The room was cleaned each day, while we were enjoying our complementary breakfast. Before going out to the best sun loungers on the island. Don’t worry the people that come on the bus to enjoy what you already have-have their own beach loungers-ensuring that you have the best view. Our only regrets is that I can’t remember everyone’s name that made our trip-truly a once in a lifetime experience.👍👍👍👍👍
