Great hotel in Barga - a real GEM

Great Ambiance- even though our room (“Biba”) 3rd floor window at knee height. Property not good for someone who cannot climb stairs. Food and service excellent! Would stay there again- great location relative to all to see in Barga and driving Tuscan countryside. Nice comfortable pool with nice chaises. Good value as excellent breakfast included. We couldnt find much info on hotel on internet but it turned out to be a real gem

Highly recommended place to stay in Barga!

Lovely villa in a quiet part of Barga city centre. 5 minuters walk from old town; pizzeria, gas station and a great supermarket even closer. The villa is simply lovely! Old and beautiful with lots of charm, but carefully modernised with A/C etc. Superb breakfast and a lovely terrace next to the pool area; great to sit and have a drink before dinner. Staff super friendly and professional. Free parking too. If we could give the villa more than a 10/10, we would. We would also love to come back!

We had a fantastic stay at the Villa Moorings. The hotel is beautiful with good sized rooms ( all with a view ) and Beatrice and her staff couldn't be more helpful. Breakfast was excellent as was the cappuccino served by Nadia. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Lovely traditional hotel, very clean and well maintained. Nice swimming pool and on-site parking. The host was a nice lady who went over and above. We had to depart early due to our flight so missed breakfast. The host prepared sandwiches for use to take with us. Great stay, nice village, just wish we could have stayed longer.
