This is a great hotel in an unfortunate location. The street leading up to the hotel is a narrow one way street which had construction blockages during our stay and it is a 10 to 15 minute walk to get to some interesting shops and restaurants. But we loved the property itself and the breakfast buffet was wonderful.

Excellent stay. Placed in the middle of the city yet peacefully tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Beautiful greenery and flowers. Everything is very well taken care of. I loved seeing the local turtles roaming around, and meeting the local cat, Luna. Extremely helpful and kind staff all around, not just the front desk, and amazing breakfast with plenty of options. We also enjoyed staying on the patio both during the morning and evening. Enjoyed a great cocktail too. The only downside is that you could hear through the outside door if anyone was passing by or talking. I would recommend this hotel and would return.

Horti 14 is a quiet, comfortable spot tucked right between two of Rome's best areas. You can walk straight to the Vatican in about 25 minutes for daytime sights, then hit Trastevere next door for great food and drinks at night—without having to sleep over a noisy bar.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The location is truly perfect. It’s tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet somehow still right in the heart of it all. The rooftop bar is super hip, the rooms and grounds are beautiful, and the staff couldn’t have been more wonderful. And for an extra-special touch, there’s Luna the cat and six turtles who call the grounds home! Such a charming little perk that made our stay even more memorable. We can’t recommend this hotel enough!

Lovely hotel. Staff welcomed us warmly and then escorted us to our room. Had a suite overlooking the botanical garden. Rooftop bar looked very nice but we preferred to walk around Trastevere which is a 10 minute walk away. Hotel nice and quiet. Toiletries are ok, nothing special. Room smelled musty but dissipated shortly after we turned on the air con. Plastic cups rather than glass in the bathroom should be limited to motels, not hotels. Mats at the entrances can use a deep clean or replacement as that gave a bit of a negative first impression. Nice touch being gifted a bag of pasta to take home.

The staff was really helpful. In the center of Rome. Be careful for the ZTL if you rent a car thats the only issues. But its not the hotel faults so i give the hotel 5 stars!!!! Breakfast was great and you have option to buy parking.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at Horti 14! The staff were incredibly accommodating and our room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. We had everything we needed and more during our stay. It truly was an oasis in a big, bustling city. The hotel was situated in a quiet, tucked away section of Trastevere, and with only a short walk we'd find ourselves among an amazing selection of restaurants and bars. When we come back to Rome we will definitely stay here again!

An oasis in the centre of Rome! From check-in to check-out, this place surpassed expectations. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Beds and linens very comfortable. Solid quality bath towels. Very clean. Loved the resident cat and turtle. Breakfast whic was included was an incredible spread! Walking distance to most sites (10 to Trastevere; 20 to Piazza Navona; 30 to Vatican; 45 to Colosseum). Highly recommend! Will definitely return when in Rome.
