Kicked out because I was a foreigner
I checked into the hotel late at night after taking a 4 hour bus. Then, on the following morning, I was forced to leave the hotel. I was told they sent me a message (which I never received) through Expedia saying they canceled my reservation and that they cannot accept any new foreign guests to supposedly control the coronavirus. Meanwhile even though the website still showed my reservation was active and confirmed for the 4 nights I reserved, I was left with no choice but to pay additional money for the only night I stayed and to then immediately leave. I was also denied use of the swimming pool and the gym even though I had paid additional money for last night on top of my paid confirmation.

Join the crowd.
Staying at the Bliss allows you to have the peace and tranquility of your own room and join in the fun and games at the Mad Monkey. The room was clean and spacious with a large comfortable bed and a hot shower. The breakfast was good as was the WiFi. The reception staff spoke good English and were very helpful arranging excursions and transportation.

Nice patio
The room was great, the patio was really nice to relax on. The food was alright but I was disappointed by how little local food there was.. which I suppose isn’t surprising since it seems to cater to backpackers. The only problem I had was how loud the nightclub was. My room was closest to the restaurant/nightclub and the loud music kept me up at night so I got very little sleep. The sunset sand dune tour was nice though. Probably would’ve been quieter on the far side of the building.

First off, be aware of the small road into the property. Property is located on a hill and cars cannot go thru so we had to lug our luggages up the hills. This property is surrounded by hostels and is in a backpacker village. The room is really outdated. Bed has a cement/tile headrest which could be dangerous if you accidentally bang your head against it. Shower is weird. Doesn’t have a tub nor a door. Towels are old. The room we stayed in didn’t even have a phone. There are a lot of mosquitoes and lizzards yet the sliding door to the room has gap, and when I asked the front desk about it, they said that’s how it is. Wth. We borrowed a knife to cut fruits and they don’t let guests borrow knives so we asked the kitchen in the restaurant to cut the fruits for us and they said no because they don’t have a knife that works either. What kind of service is that. The pool area is nice to hang out and to cool off. Some of the servers at the breakfast area were nice. The guy at the front desk was nice as well.

Nice hotel with a lively vibe
Nice clean hotel friendly with a good service level. It has a nice pool with a bar connected to it. Located up on a hill it’s a bit of a walk from the beach, but that’s okay, the walk down is full of cute Vietnamese restaurants. One thing to be aware of is that this hotel is part of a collection of hotels and hostels. Mui Ne Hills Budget Hotel, Mui Ne Hilla Villas and the Mui Ne Hills Backpackers Hostel. That adds to the vibe and the night life around the bar, and it something to be aware of, if you want a calm time around the pool during the evening, this might not be your perfect match. If you do like a bit more action, this is the place to be. The restaurant could be more vegetarian friendly as they only offer to remove meat from the dishes rather than having pure vegetarian dishes. They also have two lovely dachshunds!
