Wonderful stay at this small boutique hotel. Lovely, safe location, clean, large rooms, and wonderful staff. In particular, Manuel, the bartender was so welcoming, social and fun to interact with each night. Breakfast was just fine, beds were a bit too firm, but all in, lovely stay.

Excellent location, walkable to all the main attractions, right in the centre of historic Rome, surrounded by restaurants and shops, as well as all the historic monuments. This little property was superb! The location couldn't be better - lies between the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, the Parliament Building, etc. Located on a great street with high end shopping and many restaurants. In a very old building with a gated courtyard. Common area is small but nice. Our room (the same one pictured) was huge and very well appointed. Staff was extra-helpful. We'll probably use it again if/when we go back to Rome for the third time.

Fantastic location, extremely near the Pantheon and many attractions, restaurants, Gelateria. Very quiet at night but only 1-2 blocks from lively nightlife. The literal ONLY less than stellar comment is that the elevator is tiny and a bit bouncy but otherwise a great choice for a stay. The included continental breakfast is ample and delicious. You won’t regret staying at this gem.

Martius is a beautiful, intimate, well-run hotel located in a central but not overwhelming part of Rome. The suite was a gorgeous juxtaposition of the ancient ceiling/nod to the building's roots, combined with modern Italian design and amenities. The room was kept immaculate despite an abundance of luggage from a 3-week journey. The staff were absolutely exceptional. They directed us to excellent eateries, procured transportation for us that included a 3 am pickup for our flight home, and even got us an appointment with an ENT specialist when I had an earache. Martius will continue to be our choice for when we are in Rome.
