Dungy, asylum/ prison cell like. Dark, uninviting, old, damp, musky odor, dirty shower and washed out grey instead of white towel, old red see through curtains giving you a feel that you are in a red district...or illegal apartment.... Despite all of the that, they have a nerve to instruct guests in a police like manner to not throw towels on the floor, otherwise they will change you an extra 7 Euros per towel thrown on the floor... Very creepy and bizarre... The foyer smells like a chimney.

A pleasure
The hotel is in a nice spot, allowing you to walk to all the 'resort' attractions and get to Zakynthos town and port with ease (and walking too, if that's your bag), but allowing you also to, literally, turn your back on that and the main road, as all the rooms look out to the sea, as does the open bar on the second floor, and the sunbeds on the fine grass area with a 10 step stroll in to a shallow, warm, sandy sea. And what a view, with the sun in June setting behind the Town and the visible southern end of Kefalonia. But what really makes a stay here are the staff - their genuine feeling of making you welcome during your stay, and actually caring, add that bit extra to a stay that means a lot. It's good to know that if / when I can return, I don't need to bother searching for a hotel.

My wife and I stayed at the Anemone Beach Hotel from 12/06/19 to 19/06/19, the family run hotel of Koula, Michaelis, John and Kostacinos were very welcoming and could not do enough to make sure our stay was all it should be. All rooms have a balcony over looking the sea, ours was number 6 which was spotlessly clean when we arrived and was serviced everyday, it included a fridge, tv and small cooking facilities. The garden which was well tended had enough sunloungers for all guests and was a few steps from the sea. The hotel is in a quiet location and only a few minutes walk to the middle of Aggasi. Thankyou for a wonderful stay, my wife and I highly recommend the Anemona

Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo alloggiato qui per 10 giorni e siamo rimasti a dir poco soddisfatti! I proprietari ti accolgono con il miglior biglietto da visita, il sorriso! Stanza vista mare e assoluto relax, pulizia eccellente e massima ospitalità. Pur sapendo ben poco di inglese siamo riusciti a comunicare lo stesso e loro ci hanno aiutato con i vari mezzi di trasporto e attività in zona di Argassi. L’hotel è vicino al centro di Argassi, pieno di locali ristoranti e market quindi la comodità è assoluta! Ci si sente davvero come a casa! In giardino sono disposti vari lettini e ombrelloni e c’è la possibilità di fare il bagno proprio davanti all’hotel ! È fantastico! Ci abbiamo lasciato il cuore e ritorneremo sicuramente!
