We loved it and would choose this hotel again! The staff was very helpful with everything. The small gym + pool on the terrace upstairs + the spa (excellent!) was the perfect combo on a rainy day. We really enjoyed the slow breakfasts we had. Note, that many of the breakfast dishes are quite large for one person, so maybe start with one, or get one thing to share and then order more. The apple juice was probably the best I've had! Would also recommend the tuna toast, it had a fair amount of good quality olive oil in it. The fruit platter is also a must! The local bread with honey and cheese was also very nice (this one is definitely to share)! The sea being just a few steps from the front door was a huge plus as well, being able to go swimming any hour of the day was really lovely.

Hotel La Roche is a luxurious and elegant place. The room looked like a small Royal wing with a beautiful view. The staff is/are polite and courteous. Great location; short walk to marina, bars and restaurants; etc. Although the breakfast was wonderful, I was expecting a buffet as I prefer to help myself to be served.

Food in the restaurant is painfully slow (1.5 hours to get breakfast and longer for evening meal - disorganised and lacking in kitchen staff) and is cold when it arrives. Pool not in use but no notification that it had suffered a leak before we arrived. Rooms however are really good with fantastic views.

Beautiful hotel, lovely rooms very good for families the sea view room with two bedrooms was perfect for families with kids all in the same apartment but with privacy as well. Great rooms, comfy beds, maybe the best shower ever. Outside breakfast was ok, good to order off the menu, but could have done with a few more options. Beach front area has no beach as such but great service from the lifeguard/drinks guy he worked so hard in the heat! Only negative was that employed some of the worst singers I’ve ever heard wailing like a strangled car with an out of tune guitar until 11.30pm every night. People are trying to get their kids and parents to sleep. Cut it out guys!! Why’s it got to be so loud? They were awful as well, they need to go. Couple of bits of damage in the room needed fixing (hole above shower, extractor fan cable coming out of wall) but they will get to that. Spa upstairs was great with everything you need. Overall just fix a few things and it would be perfect. Hopefully they read this and fix Amazing location by the way

Our best stay in Montenegro!

By far, our best stay in Montenegro! Loved this little boutique hotel. Close to restaurants and shopping, but in a quiet area. The staff was so kind and welcoming. We enjoyed the rooftop pool and later the beach area. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Tivat.

Excellent stay

The hotel was fantastic, the room was great and the view from the room was wonderful. There was parking just outside the hotel, which really helps when you are traveling with a car. The reception staff was amazing, taking care of any request or question that we had immediately, even sometimes without us needing to ask (special thanks to Jovana from the reception team).

Awesome stay

We had a superb stay at Hotel La Roche in Tivat! Everything was wonderful, from the hotel itself to the amazing staff. The young man in charge of the beach was incredibly attentive, the breakfast staff made every morning a delight, and the reception team was always warm and welcoming. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed the spacious sea view room, & being situated 5 minutes walk from the marina filled with shops & restaurants. The staff were friendly, however the food service was very slow. Delicious choice for a la carte breakfast. Has a lovely boutique feel with a wonderful spa facility, pool area & beach club.
