One of the best Hotels
We really enjoyed our time at this hotel. Initially I was a bit concerned because it wasn't a big hotel, but it was such a treat. The staff is really hospitable and they treated us as family. Gave us suggestions on where to go and what to do in Rome. They pretty much helped us the whole time. The breakfast was awesome and since we didn't like getting up early, they brought it to the room everyday. The rooms are small by American standard and I was in the Junior Suite, but the comfort it provided made up for it. TV channels are only in Italian, but there are two channels you can change to English. Room service was awesome. There are no shower curtains ( it's designer that way) but made it almost impossible not to make a mess in the bathroom. I have to say Carolina and Massimiliano were great. If I could bring them home with me I would. Location is perfect. Vatican City is less than 5 min walk. The metro, trans and busses are one block away and pretty much drop you off minutes from most of the attractions such as the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Colosseum, etc. Leave your credit cards at home because there is so much shopping to do in this area is ridiculous. As soon as you step out of the hotel, there are restaurants in every corner, actually two or three restaurants. I could keep on going about this place. It was wonderful and in the perfect location. I am definitely going back next year. I stayed for 6 days and wish I would have stayed longer. Worth every dime.

Great Hotel and overall experience!
My husband and I spent 4 nights at Hotel Vespasiano. This was a great hotel. Everything was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in an excellent location. It's only about a 2 minute walk to Vatican City and is surrounded by many souvenir shops and restaurants. The front desk attendant Massimilo was awesome! He was very helpful and kind. Anything you need he goes out of his way to provide. I would certainly recommend this Hotel and would stay again. Just FYI- there are no American outlets if you're traveling from America but there are USB outlets to charge your phone. But anything that requires an American outlet won't be much use. Also only Italian tv channels. However we spent very little time in the room so this wasn't too bad. I would also recommend the Vatican, St. Peter's Basilica, and Sistine Chapel skip the line tour. We did the 3 hour tour and it was very informative and a wonderful experience. Unless you're a history buff the guided tour would be most effective! Also, pay the extra to skip the line. People had to wait in line 2-3 hours just to enter. We walked right in. If you like to shop take a speed train to Florence; only takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to get there. There is an awesome designer outlet mall with excellent deals. Purchased some great finds at Gucci, Versace, and Prada! This was a great trip and excellent hotel!

Great location right next to the Vatican
Me and my girlfriend have just enjoyed a lovely three days staying at the hotel Vespasiano. Overall it was a great experience and I would whole heartily recommend a stay here. What we really liked was the great location five minutes walk into the Vatican City and around the same distance to the nearest metro station Ottaviano. So it was a really great base to explore the whole city. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Giving us hints and tips on where to go on our arrival. When it rained they even let us use a large umbrella for the day to explore the colosseum, which was unexpected and total life saver. The room was large, with a really comfortable king size bed, cool contemporary decor and a large bathroom. Watch out for the shower in our room it was that powerful it nearly jumped out of the holder. The only slight downer was the aircon this didn't seem to work correctly but we never did ask to see what was wrong with it so could easily have been down to our user error. The breakfast was included in our package and I must say was a really great start to each day. with the usual teas, coffees, cereals, salads, fruit, fruit juices, bread and toaster all available for you. I highly recommend the scrambled eggs as these were delicious. The room was quiet small though so I'm not sure how easy it would be to get a table in busy time but for our stay it was perfect. Over all I would recommend a stay and if I ever visit Rome again I wouldn't hesitate to re book.

Good 6.0
Nice hotel but disappointed
Stayed for 4 nights in April. Very pleased with our initial impressions when we were shown to the room. Lovely big room which was clean and well decorated and the bed was comfy. Hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. There are several negatives which would mean I wouldn't stay or recommend the hotel to others unless they were fixed. Minor issue was breakfast - it was OK - not brilliant - ate there twice but would recommend paying and going out somewhere. Main issue was the noise. We stayed in room 310 which was the furthest away from the reception up a short flight of stairs. The walls are so thin you can hear everything going on in the reception/hallway and from neighbouring room 309. We purposely went to bed early (10pm ) on the first night as we had booked a trip to Pompeii for the Tues morning, however, we hardly slept as we heard constant noise from the rest of the hotel at various intervals throughout the night- for example, the room next door were talking loudly and woke us up, there was noise from the halls like the breakfast service being setup, noise from other guests coming in later in the evening. We ended up buying ear plugs from a chemist and these helped but never had to do this before. It's a shame as the hotel and staff are great. I'd be aware if you do stay here, pack ear plugs or buy some!

When in Rome....
A brilliant boutique hotel, modern ecclectic decor and very stylish interpretations throughout. Room and all hotel areas kept very clean. All the staff were super friendly and because it was available they allowed us to access our room ahead of time. Could not fault anything about the hotel, its staff or the overall experience. Situated around the corner from the Vatican and yet transportation by metro or bus too you to the heart of many other attractions (used the app Moovit to work out routes by metro, bus and even carshare or Uber- brilliant app to use here as it was in Barcelona and it is the one I use here in the UK) . Lots of nice restaurants in close proximity and the breakfast offered by the hotel did the trick and tea/coffee facilities and minibar provided in the room. No problem for them to store our luggage whilst we got some more sightseeing done until our afternoon cab pickup.
