Great stay at Hotel Savoy Bern. T he hotel's location is terrific -- close to the old town and the train station. Room was quiet and comfortable, and front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good too.

6/10 Good

Good location for a traveler who comes in with the train and want to stay in the city center. The room was good and clean, the breakfast is not worth the money. And you cannot get room service on the days where you just want to relax in your room.

10/10 Exceptional

The room size and amenities, hotel location, breakfast buffet options were excellent. The air conditioning was a bit faulty but we did fine without reporting it. It was a wonderful stay! One block from the train station. The staff was stellar, from the front desk, to the breakfast provider, to the night staff. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

We booked 2 rooms both small for Europe standards. The one room smelled like sewage when you entered and we had to leave the window open all night. We arrived late and only had it for one night thankfully. The other room had no smell though. Location is good for restaurants, shopping, coffee, and tourism. The train station is very convenient for those traveling with out a car. Grocery store is close as well.

8/10 Very good

The property was very nice. It had a wonderful location.. The property was very clean and the staff was very helpful with suggestions of things to see and restaurants.. The room was clean and more than adequate size with a bathtub. I would say the breakfast was good, but maybe not as good as other places we’ve been to in Italy and Germany and Switzerland and Austria.. I would recommend this Hotel as a frequent traveler

Hotel Savoy Bern is an awesome place, in a prime location next to the main train station in the old downtown. It is very clean, quiet and most importantly the air conditioning works. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful with anything you need. The only downside at this point I would say it’s breakfast should be included in the price, not $27 per person per day extra. We decided to not pay for the breakfast as there are plenty of other options nearby.
