Invasion of ants

The hotel has a nice location, the room was perfectly fine, the beds were very good. BUT we had an invasion of ants, which made the stay quite uncomfortable. There was an invasion of ants in the floorboards of all the apartments. If we had dropped a small grain on the floor, we woke up with ants all over the kitchen. Antonetta, who works there, stopped by twice to apply ant spray, but this is not what we want when we are on holiday. Unfortunately, there is no air conditioning either, which was also troublesome. This is not a hotel, so you have to wash towels and bed linen yourself, but there was a washing machine on the 1st floor that we could use, so this worked out fine.

Vår upplevelse av Villa Mafalda Sanremo

Lägenheten var mycket fin och rymlig. Bra läge till strand och centrum. Dock var vi där under värmebölja och det saknas AC. Det stod fläktar på rummet som inte gjorde mycket för luften som vi upplevde stod still. Olidligt vissa nätter. Det fanns ingen personal där att få hjälp att exempelvis boka taxi. De kunde ingen engelska heller. Jag fick lämna nycklarna till städpersonalen vid avresa. När vi anlände kom ingen och öppnade grindarna så jag fick ringa flera nummer innan vi blev insläppta.

De passage à Sanremo pour une nuit cette trouvaille nous a ravi, une magnifique "villa", une belle terrasse en RDC pour notre appartement. Certe il faut aller se garer près de la plage mais c'est à 5 minutes à pied. Le casino est à 2 pas et les rues piétonnes aussi.

Belle découverte. Très bel Appartement agréable, spacieux et propre Bon accueil, emplacement calme et proche du centre-ville. Be careful of Italianway

On our 2nd and final night we returned at 22h30 to find a faulty door lock so could not enter the apartment. Tried calling agent but no answer just a message saying ti call a certain number. It was the same number so what was the point of that message! So had to find a hotel late at night and had only clothes we were stood up in. To be fair the agent saw our messages early next morning and showed us the lock was fine. It was not and it jammed again a little later after she had gone. So I took a video of the problem but they didn't want a copy. So we paid for a hotel ( 100+ € ) but Italianway refused to pay more than 66€. So through no fault of our own we were locked out and out of pocket by nearly 40€. Didn't ask for any more compensation for the inconvenience but they would not go above 66€. Interesting thing is that Hotels.com no longer have these apartment listed on their website. A coincidence? Result is a very unhappy customer who visits San Remo several times a year so they will lose our business. Plus we have several couples who live near Nice who wanted to come with us but they will now also not book with Italianway. A very short sighted company more interested in their own policy than in doing the right thing by their customers. Beware!!!

VACANZA STUPENDA.... migliorabile

Nel complesso Villa Mafalda ci è piaciuta e le nostre vacanze a San Remo sono state molto belle. PRO: l'accoglienza della sig.rina Gaia è stata a dir poco eccezionale, siamo stati guidati e consigliati a dovere. La zona è veramente ottima per raggiungere il centro città e alcune spiagge molto carine e la maggior parte dei servizi sono a due passi. L'appartamento è in buone condizioni generali, dotato di elettrodomestici per ogni esigenza. La porta blindata dà molta sicurezza. CONTRO: se possibile vorrei che queste osservazioni venissero lette non come critiche ma come consigli per migliorare il servizio già molto buono: manca una cassaforte, gli accessori sono praticamente assenti e bisogna comprarsi qualsiasi cosa, la doccia è scomoda (una tendina inutile vi si appiccicherà costantemente al corpo durante il lavaggio), manca l'aria condizionata (compensata da un ventilatore che ti devi portare in giro per la casa), le pentole sono poco adatte agli utilizzi quotidiani e alcune non sono idonee al piano cottura ad induzione per il materiale di cui fatte.

Nous avons trouvé des nids et des cocons bourrés d araignées à l intérieur , les wc n étaient pas propres et de la poussière sous le lit . Des cocons aux encadrements du miroir du salon ainsi que dans les placards ! Nous avons voulu contacter le propriétaire mais aucune réponse ne nous ai prévenu . Ils nous prennent 40 euros de ménage même pour une nuit ! Du coup on ne peut pas laisser passer ça ! Très déçus du manque de professionnalisme . D ou cette évaluation sur expédia .
