Really nice hotel only 10 min walk from Sendai station. The check-in was quick and swift and the staff at the lobby/breakfast buffet where all very nice/attentive and helpful. My room was of normal size with nice interior feel (modern yet still cosy). There are onsen/public bath for men and women on separate floors with the ability to do laundry as well. The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious at the hotel and much to choose from, only thing to be mindful about is that the dining space is smaller than usual for this size of hotel, especially where you fetch your food that can get a bit crammed (busiest between 8AM-9AM). I stayed here for 5 nights and very satisfied overall!

Everything about this property was excellent! If you stay here, definitely get breakfast - it is delicious. The rooms are comfortable, as are the beds. I loved the privacy, comfort abd security of the large women-only bath. And the rooms are so clean!

Good value and location. Was clean and staff was kind and helpful. Room is very small so be aware as this it’s difficult for two people with more than carry on bags to open suitcases. Breakfast was impressive buffet of lots of options mostly Japanese but still a few western options.

The Almont was a short walk away from Sendai Station, so very manageable with a carryon. Nearby there were many restaurants, convenience stores, and shopping areas. Air conditioner worked beautifully. Also, I used the coin-operated washer and dryer in the women's bath; 500yen for 120 minutes wash+dry. It worked well and had a passcode lock feature so you could walk away without worrying. I would definitely stay here again.

Very enjoyable stay in Sendai

Excellent hotel, good location to railway station and city centre. Lots of food and shopping options. Nice modern and clean. High quality breakfast, very nicely presented. Very pleasant and helpful staff. All the amenities you need. Room was a little small. Not much sound proofing and street noise was fairly loud at times.

Wonderful hotel, wonderful staff.

A wonderful stay at a great hotel, at an extremely good price. Extra special thank you to Sato-san and Koike-san for their very kind help with some important paperwork! We're delighted to say they helped us get married in Tokyo a few days later, and wrote us a lovely note too (Thank you Sato-san. Come on your Spurs!) All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We cannot fault this hotel and would absolutely book again!
