The room was very quiet and had a relaxing view of the lagoon and trees. Customer service, across the board, was friendly and they went out of their way to assist. Great location, very central and walking distance to most key tourist spots. No steep hills to climb like many other accomodation options in town. This is my second stay at the hotel and i would return again.

The hotel location is very convenient. The staff were very helpful. The hotel has large foyers and corridors but the room and balcony we had were on the small side. The storage in the room was also minimal with no drawer space.The shelving in the tiny wardrobe was not accessible to anyone under 2 metres tall. Ice for the room was also not readily available and there was nowhere to store ice if bought from a shop.

The water view room was light, bright and airy despite being a little small. Both cleaning and guest services teams were very professional and friendly and the beds were very comfortable. Despite being in the heart of town, the room was surprisingly quiet. An extra bonus was being on flat ground, near the water and within walking distance of most attractions. Happy not to have to hike/taxi the incredibly steep hills of Airlie after a night out.
