The staff was amazing! Helpful in every way! The stairs to the third floor were tricky, but just helped us get a little extra exercise. Great place… we would stay again!

The Attwater was such a neat bed and breakfast "feel" hotel. Very conveniently located to the main center of town. We loved our room that had the sitting room with it. Fun stay and would love to come back soon!

The Attwater is a lovely hotel. The rooms are nicely decorated and very spacious. We had a king suite. The water pressure in the shower was great and the towels were nice and fluffy. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was really good. They had a nice selection of warm and cold breakfast to choose from. The coffee and tea station was always available, which was nice. The staff was very, very helpful.

Peter was very helpful. Good location not too far from the action. Got upgraded without asking to what was pretty much a mini apartment.

8/10 Very good

We had a nice long weekend at the hotel. The staff was friendly, the breakfasts were good, parking was free and very convenient. The location is a short walk to both restaurants and shops. My only recommendation to the hotel is to address the musty odor that is overwhelming when you walk into the lobby. Maybe consider a signature scent of some type? Everything was in order and kept, but the smell made me feel otherwise. There are some minor repairs to the room we were staying in that need addressing. The bathroom seemed a bit worn, otherwise good little hotel that is quiet.

What a charming property. Small, well located, parking and breakfast! The room was clean updated with a well appointed bath. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were like silk. Breakfast was convenient and had a variety of items individually portioned. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, an excellent place to stay in Newport!

This stay was unexpectedly excellent! My wife and I have never stayed here and were pleasantly surprised. Rooms were very clean. Complimentary breakfast in the morning was great to get your day started. Peter was an extremely knowledgeable resource in helping us plan our days when we didn’t know what we should see. We will definitely be coming back in the future. Very nice stay a 10 minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of downtown Newport.
