We enjoyed sitting out on the "boardwalk" in the evening and visiting with neighbors. The big grassy lawn with plenty of seating looked wonderful, but it was too windy for us to enjoy. The location is very convenient to great food. We ate at the Bridgeport Inn 3 times and had fabulous meals.

We frequent this hotel because the rooms are clean and comfortable. The only downside this trip was the wifi/streaming kept going in and out. Since I have to work while on the road, I greatly depend on a strong signal. This could've been just a fluke though, as I've stayed there in the past with no problem.

Pros:This place was in a great location and is a charming old true motel. Our room was clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Loved being able to back our truck up so close to the room to unload our luggage! Cons: The room was tiny, the bathroom was tiny. Our room had a door inside the closet that connected to the room next door. I didn’t check to see that it was securely locked when we checked in, just assumed it was. Well, when people arrived about 9:30 pm to stay in that adjacent room, we could hear them trying to open the door and they did! Shut it quickly once they saw where it lead to, but I couldn’t get the deadbolt to lock from our side. it was too late at that point to call the front desk and I was paranoid that they were gonna rob us in the night ( not really) so we pushed a chair up against the closet door.

The rooms are very charming, clean and comfortable. I arrived at the Inn very late for check-in & was conveniently accommodated. The parking was right in front of my room, and nicely lit up. I would definitely book again!

We booked three rooms for a pre-backpacking/camping trip to Twin Lakes for 10 people and one Labrador, and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean, the property was well maintained, and the whole place had a cozy small-town charm that made us feel right at home. The family who runs the inn was incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. We also really appreciated having BBQs on the property—it was a great touch for our group. We’ll definitely be back to the area and would be happy to stay here again.

8/10 Very good

Front desk staff over and above amazing!!! I had difficulty getting bottled water out of the vending machine and after multiple tries, the gentleman on duty gave me 2 free bottles and 2 cans of Sprite - gratis!! Great recommendations, very friendly. Property is a little "worn", but in keeping with the overall atmosphere of the town. Air conditioner was a little wonky - couldn't figure out how to turn the fan down (or else the controls were ineffective), but definitely not a deal-breaker. Fun, retro place to stay. Unfortunately, staff told me that several of the trees that provide shade and character for the courtyard are being cut down due to beetle infestation.

The room had a some interesting details that gave it a certain charm. For example, the curtain rods were made of wood and had carved birds on the ends.
