Our stay at the Hotel Breakers exceeded our expectations. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. We encountered a small issue with our room at check-in and the staff went above and beyond to remedy the situation. I highly recommend this hotel. I especially like the proximity to the park entrance, the courteous staff, and the multiple restaurants in the hotel.

The location of this hotel cannot be beat. We loved being able to walk to both the theme park (and take a break in the middle of a hot afternoon) and the beach/pool. The price is significantly higher than other hotels in the area, but I was thankful to be staying at Breakers for the convenience of location. For the high price, the room is fairly basic. The shower in our room wasn’t as clean as I’d like, but overall, the hotel is well maintained & we felt comfortable there for 2 nights.

The room appears to have been swept and the sheets were clean. The bathroom has ceiling mold and the exhaust fan was clogged and barely working. The elevators were very slow and one was inoperable, made times going to room lengthily. Kids pool was closed twice, once on our arrival (Chlorine issues), and once the next morning for lack of staff (lifeguard). Front desk staff was very friendly!

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Breakers! You simply can't beat the location—being just steps from Cedar Point made the entire experience so convenient and enjoyable. The pools were fantastic, especially the outdoor pools. Our only minor note would be that the indoor pool had a very strong chlorine smell, and it was enough to irritate our eyes just being in the room. We simply chose to spend our time at the outdoor pools instead, which were wonderful. The staff was excellent throughout our stay. We especially want to give a big thank you to the gift shop team! The prizes we had won inside the park were accidentally misplaced during delivery back to the hotel, and they went above and beyond to help us track everything down. Their willingness to help and positive attitude really stood out. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would absolutely stay at Hotel Breakers again!

This hotel wasn’t worth the price. The rooms and hotel itself were the same quality of any budget hotel I’ve been to. The lobby was kind of cool but outside of that there wasn’t much to write home about. The mayfly’s when we visited were swarming and took away from the experience. I can’t really fault the hotel for nature but it definitely made it close to impossible to enjoy sitting in their outdoor seating. I will say on a more positive note the convenience of the restaurants and park were nice. The restaurants were overpriced chains but to be able to just walk right to them and then the beach is convenient. It was also nice to have early entry into the park. Overall, I feel like there are better cheaper options nearby where you can get more bang for your buck.
