Lovely experience- and the main area of the hotel is great for the kids. We stayed in a room with a few of the zoo and it could do with some TLC. The early access staying in the hotel is brilliant.

Large room however looking outside our window on the roof below was cutlery and toy cars which had been thrown out by previous guests and not been removed by the hotel. Windows were dirty. Towel had a huge hole in it. Bath took a long time to drain. The staff were friendly and the entertainment was good but the room itself was unacceptable in terms of cleanliness- we wouldn't stay again sadly.

Room was dirty, kids treasure hunt was a pack of biscuits, disappointing in comparison to other Merlin sites. The whole hotel could do with a bit of updating and good clean, swimming pool was closed aswell apparently a common thing. The staff genuinely gave the impression they’ve given up because they were just dealing with complaints about the poor food in the restaurants. Can’t comment on that as we went offsite to eat, because we’d read the bad reviews and didn’t want to risk it. The only benefit of staying here was the extra hour in the park in the morning. Which now I wished I’d stayed somewhere else and paid for the extra hour.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel parking was convenient and adjacent to the park entrance. However the decor was quite tired across the hotel and in our room. There were a couple of stains on the carpet and water marks on the bathroom floor. Overall a pleasant overnight stay.

We had a pleasant stay overall. The staff were very helpful and responded quickly when we experienced an unexpected problem with the bed. They kindly upgraded our room, which we really appreciated. The only disappointment was that the swimming pool was closed for two days during our stay. We chose this hotel mainly because of the pool, so it was unfortunate that we didn't get the chance to enjoy it. It would have been helpful to be informed about the closure before our arrival. Despite this, we appreciate the excellent customer service and thank the staff for making the best of the situation.
