Northampton is applauded for its cultural attractions such as Royal & Derngate Theatre and Althorp House. Visitors to this welcoming city speak highly of the bars whereas sights include Market Square and Delapre Abbey.
The gem of the city is the cultural quarter, although for the first day we walked past it not realising that was where all the good places to eat and get coffee were!

As we were only there for one night, we find it very easy to walk around the town and there are plenty of places to eat. We felt safe.

The roads were very quiet compared to where we are from and in much better condition. Didnt go into the centre of Northampton but would definitely visit the area again

First time visiting Northampton for an event. I could definately live here.
"Regular visitor. Always clean, friendly staff, lovely rooms and great food. Only minor criticism would be that there is typically only one staff member on breakfast/check-out which can mean a few minutes waiting, but other than that, an excellent place to stay !"
"A charming stay in a beautifully restored old coaching house. This family-run hotel is warm, cozy, and full of character. The atmosphere is welcoming from the moment you arrive, with friendly owners who go out of their way to make you feel at home. The food is excellent, homemade, hearty, and full of flavour.
