"this hotel located close to a lot of restaurants ( highly recommend Rustica, 2 min walk) only 15 min walk to the city center. rooms are little older ( my room had a weird smell) and they do have air conditioner. Solid stay at a good hotel. There's a bar and restaurant attached to the hotel- they serve truly terrible pizza."

"The room was small. Nothing exciting about the hotel. Very plain and basic. The stairs are steep to get up to the rooms. No elevator. They charge you for the coffee pods and a little sweet treat they leave in the room. There was no price on them to let you know they were not complimentary. I could have gotten much better coffee at Starbucks. Which is right on the corner. I would definitely not stay there again or recommend this hotel. There are much nicer places you can stay at with more charm. This was the first time I have been to a hotel where they charge for coffee they leave in the room. I would give this hotel a 2 out of 5."

"Disappointing stay due to room condition I had high expectations for Rosewood San Miguel de Allende given its reputation, but unfortunately our room experience was very disappointing. The air conditioning seemed to be malfunctioning and had a very foul smell, as if something old and damp had been left sitting in the system. The odor was extremely unpleasant and happened both nights of our stay. It was strong enough that I had to personally spray the room with air freshener each night just to make it bearable. For a property of this caliber and price point, room maintenance and basic comfort should be impeccable. The smell significantly affected our stay and was not what I expected from a luxury hotel. I hope management addresses this issue promptly."
