Although we only got to stay one night at this lovely property we would highly recommended it. It’s excellent staff, where all very pleasant and helpful, including Kathy who checked us in.They also upgraded us to a suite which was gorgeous in a Deco style. Enjoyed a lovely night after flying and was very appreciative of their eco-friendly amenities and special touches that show they are not concerned about expense to go the extra mile for their clients. We also enjoyed room service from their restaurant which was also excellent.

From the minute you walk in the welcome from all the staff is genuine, friendly and professional. The property itself has a lovely cosy laid back vibe and you’d never know it was a short walk from all the best entertainment that Brisbane has to offer. If you’re looking for the perfect venue for a romantic weekend break this is it. We will definitely be going back.

Love the Balfour

This boutique hotel is divine, premium, fun convenient location out of the city but a walk to James St, New Farm Park and everything in the Valley. Service is personalised, rooms a gorgeous, breakfast is of the highest quality and bar area is beautiful if you’re enjoying a romantic getaway or business meeting. Can’t fault this place.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful property. The staff made you feel right at home from the moment we arrived to when we left. Big shout out to Murray for the care and chats. The homely, luxurious and spacious rooms and main building were perfect for our weekend away together, and walkable to New Farm, Valley Shopping, the river and DBC as well as the Howard Smith Wharves precinct. Highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
