Lovely hotel. Very nice spa building. Rooms spacious and had tea/coffee plus iron and ironing board. Breakfast options were lovely, staff friendly and helpful. Nice bar area and sitting space. The grounds are gorgeous. We stayed whilst attending a wedding at Seckford Hall and it was an easy taxi ride away. My only (very minor) criticism is that the hotel was very hot.

Superb hotel, comfortable stay, room excellent. Breakfast wonderful. Only niggles were the bar prices very akin to London and when compared to other hotel spas facilities there were lacking for the admission fee. Would stay again as well overall a great hotel.

Enjoyable weekend stay. Staff were all excellent. Friendly and helpful. Special mention to Joshua (F&B Manager) who stepped in to resolve an issue on arrival, dealt with promptly and professionally (thank you). Nice room, peaceful location. Kesgrave Hall is,a beautiful place.Unfortunately there was a few things that would of made us enjoy our stay more.The garden was lovely but it was a beautiful day and the only place we could sit to drink our delicious Apparrel Sprits and Dark and Stormy drinks were in the Smoking area it would of been nice to have somewhere more casual to sit and enjoy the ambience. Our room was lovely but unfortunately the extracter fan in bathroom would not turn off very quickly and sounded like a aeroplane engine whilst having a nice soak in the bath ..Shame.The Staff were lovely and very professional. THE food and drink was fab .

Great food, great service, great stay

We had a great stay in a superior room. It was my wife, daughter (7) and I. There was plenty room for the three of us and the service was great. The grounds were lovely and we were spoiled with sun. The food was amazing! After dining on our first night the quality of food made the decision for the other nights Service was great including late night dessert room service, and very understanding staff that still served us when we came to breakfast late one morning.

As always I was very open minded about staying here, thought it might be overly pretentious but I was very pleasantly surprised, and thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The grounds are very well taken care of, even in winter, the hotel is spotlessly clean and so are the rooms, which are nice and spacious. The restaurant was quite plain but the food is certainly not, I had the roast chicken as I said a Sunday night, it was well presented, beautifully cooked, and so much of it, I am gluten free and they catered for, which was a really lovely surprise, and the best chocolate brownie I have ever tasted. Breakfast was equally as good. I would certainly recommend the hotel and would definitely stay there again, it was such a shame I didnt have time to visit the spa.

The Gatehouse is amazing and the rooms 5 star. The receptionist was amazing pick us up and drop us off after lovely meal and drinks. Restaurant The restaurant staff were lovely and it was an extremely busy night for them. Starter was selection of cooked meats and wafers on wood board. Had steak with chunky fries and the sauce was amazing. Overall the food was star of the show. The lounge was quiet and classy the bar manager was a class act and great professional presence.
