Fantastic 2 days stay in Sigulda
Lovely hotel with good facilities and spacious room. The breakfast was adequate but nothing special. Staff were nice and very helpful. Would stay at this hotel again only if driving as a 20 minutes walk from Sigulda train station. Leisure facilities were fantastic with pool, jacuzzi, saunas and relaxing loungwith big screen tv. Throughly enjoyed our one night stay.

The hotel is quite new and rooms are large and quite comfortable. However, lack of some basic options was quite annoying - we arrived around 10 pm and couldn’t get neither tea nor beer, let alone some snacks.

Bad Experience All Around
Location is not ideal, but manageable. Rooms were large, but very uncomfortable and outdated. A/C didn't work and the beds we're uncomfortable. Breakfast was included, but not great. Worst of all, another guest briefly walked into our room in the middle of night. We believe the front desk gave them access unintentionally. When we asked in the morning they of course denied it even though our keys were not working. There's a reason this was the only property was the only one left with rooms.

It was good for the price. It is quite far from the town, but no problem if you like to walk. Shop is near and personal is really nice and helps in need.

Very nice hotel... but a bit far from town.
The Hotel Segevold is a very nice little hotel with very comfortable rooms and great staff. Everyone we spoke to during our stay was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a 10-20 minute walk from Sigulda's train station. It's just far enough to be mildly annoying. Unfortunately, the hotel does not offer a shuttle service and cabs are a pain. The hotel's location is just off the main highway and the surrounding area is commercial and semi industrial. That said, it's quiet at night and the hotel itself is nice appointed.

Arrived at midnight and all closed up. Breakfast was however very good the following morning. Pillows were very soft and I did not sleep well however this is down to personal preference

Clean and comfortable.
Friendly and helpful staff. Nice big room and very clean. Good WiFi. Pretty good selection for breakfast. Had dinner there one night and the meal was very good. About 15-20 minute walk from the bus and train stations away from the centre of town.
