Even better than I expected ! Stumbled on this GEM in looking for a long weekend getaway for my husband and I. Relaxing, quiet, and exactly what we needed for a romantic weekend away! We loved all the amenities this hotel had to offer and the food at Ticklers was AMAZING. We will definitely be returning in the near future!

Love love love this place. Staff were amazing, room super comfortable, restaurant delicious. Loved the nightly bonfires. Did I mention how great the staff was? Only complaint- a bike garage is needed. That is prime cycling territory and having to store bikes in the car was… inconvenient.

Beautiful large property by the water. I wish the pool and area around it was bigger (having all that land around....) . The view from our room was NOT what I expected. Sad to say that it overlooked to an area with working noisy compressors units. I had to keep the blinds close not to see this terrible view.. Staff was helpful when I expressed my disappointment and offered me resort fee waiver for the inconvenience. Thank you! We will come back again but will be more careful with room selection when booking..

This is our second stay and it was as wonderful as the first. Quiet and private. Pool was great and the views were beautiful. Kayaking, SUP and Fishing, they also had bikes available.Fire pits at night and Ticklers a good place to eat and drink! Very enjoyable, we will be back again and again!

Mini vacay

Came for a one night mini vacay and it didn’t disappoint even though it rained. Everyone was friendly! So many amenities to make use of! Loved the sauna, restaurant right out our front door. Had a view of the water which we didn’t expect! Was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience.

Great, very inclusive facility. Quiet evening, pool, and hot sauna was a fun distraction. Dinner at Ticklers Crab Shack was so good! the crab & veggie soup was fantastic.The morning coffee and offerings was good as well.

Lovely Stay

We had a wonderful stay. A few things I would mention, if you have difficulty with stairs make sure to tell the person taking your reservations. Hopefully they will have a first-floor unit available. The building is very old, and the steps are very steep. The building has been nicely updated and is very well maintained and very, very clean. The views and the amenities are really great.

Great 4th of July weekend

We had a great 4th of July weekend at Wylder. The food and view was great. Enjoyed blue crabs. The room is not big but we didn't spend much time in the room. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful when needed.
