2/10 Poor

The hotel experience was way below average and fell far short of the basic vacation needs. I encountered issues with the room’s cleanliness immediately after checking in. Thankfully, after reporting the issue, the team took the necessary action and reached out to apologize, which I appreciated. However, an apology alone is not enough when the service provided does not meet the basic standards of 5stars hotel. The overall service was extremely disappointing. Phone calls are rarely answered, and the housekeeping service is particularly poor. On one occasion, I left the room for a couple of hours and returned to find it still uncleaned. The following day, I specifically informed the receptionist that the room needed to be cleaned before I left and made sure the request was acknowledged. Despite this, I returned later, hoping to relax after being out, only to find that the room had still not been cleaned. I tried calling again, but as usual, no one answered. A clean room and reliable service are basic expectations when staying at a hotel, and unfortunately, Onyx Rotana failed to deliver on these essentials. A comfortable and pleasant hotel stay matters, and based on my experience, I would not recommend Onyx Rotana to anyone looking for a decent and reliable hotel experience. That said, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Mr. Niranjan, the technician, who was extremely helpful and genuinely made a difference in my day. I would also like to thank Ms. Arwa as well

8/10 Very good

I loved the place. Very fancy and very new and clean. The only downside was that there were so many restrictions for the kids, although I booked this trip for my kids. I hope they become more kids friendly soon.

Excellent hotel with professional staff

The first time I m staying in onyx hotel in Bahrain. I was surprised by its confort and professionalism of its staff. Special thanks to George and Taher at the reception. They were very professional and helpful. Also big thanks goes to Bader at the luggage concierge for his support. Finally I would like to thank the Tunisian lady at the restaurant for her assistance.

8/10 Very good

I gave the hotel a 4-star rating because of the air conditioning. The minimum temperature is locked at 20 degrees Celsius, even after adjusting the thermostat. Even at 20 degrees Celsius, the temperature barely reaches 21 degrees Celsius, which made it difficult for me to sleep(insomnia . The hotel appears to be new, but this is a significant drawback, especially during the summer season. I stayed for 3 nights,
