Excellent location with great restaurants and cafes and a good walk to the castle, the royal mile etc. The downside was the tiny bathroom and small room which was a tight squeeze with two large suitcases. The room itself was very stuffy so we slept both nights with the window as as open as we could have it. I can't imagine what it might be like in summer.

Exactly as described. Great location on a quiet street near the action (will be better once the tram resumes). Clean, cozy, well-maintained room, simple check-in. The only issue for me, and this would have been obvious if I’d thought about it, was that I had to lug my heavy suitcase up (to get into the front door) and down (from the main floor to my room) a lot of stairs.

Thank you for a wonderful stay during my travel in Edinburgh. The room was so clean and inviting. We had almost everything we needed except for sometimes the room would get hot. We were provided with a fan but it still would have been nice not to overheat. Overall a pleasure! The location was close to dean village , lots of other famous monuments, restaurants were delicious and coffee shops too

We enjoyed our stay so much and definitely would stay again! Absolutely the perfect location, but the only bad thing was there was no fridge in room and ice maker is really small for amount of guest rooms. We stayed in the Grosvenor room and Absolutely loved it but did have one night where kids decided to hang out in front of our window and were very loud. Would highly recommend!!!!

Place was very clean, updated with high quality linen, towels, complimentary coffee/ tea and other finishes. Great location in a nice neighbourhood and easy to get to main attractions in the city. My main reservation is the very tight space the room itself (Walker) and the washroom. This was small even for European standards and I expected a bit more space for the price point.
