Worst experience yet

Worst place to stay at in Madrid. No amenities at all. Run down room with poor furtinure and awful small and uncomfortable bathroom. But the worst part was having the room full of bedbugs. Avoid at all cost.

The place is in the heart of the city. The SOL station is around the corner. Area full of shops, bars, restaurants and night life. Staff was very pleasant. I got the single room with pvt bath, hot water all the time. The price was good, compared to any place in the area. Can't complain.

La habitación era pequeñísima, aunque tenía ventana (muy pequeña) daba a un patio interior diminuto y sin luz. Las puertas son de papel y se oía todo. Las paredes de la habitación sucias. Y como pude comprobar cuando dejé la habitación (2 noches antes de lo previsto) había prostitución en el mismo, es normal que exista pero no lo esperaba.

No es lo que esperaba

Al buscar alojamiento con tan poco margen de tiempo encontré solamente este hostal por un precio razonable. Al llegar al alojamiento la habitación no se parecía (ni de lejos) a las fotografías: habitación enanísima, baño hiper compacto teniendo que sentarse de lado en la taza, una ducha que ni me acerqué, la ventana no cerraba (por lo que hacía un frío tremendo) y las paredes de papel. Para una noche es pasable pero desde luego no creo que vuelva. Eso sí, los empleados encantadores.

Disappointing

This property is not as good as it looks. Their profile on Hotels.com shows big well-lit rooms, and comfortable beds. However, I was given a room in the corner of the building, around 5 m² with no window, at all. Picture that! And when I asked for a different room, I was told that they were fully booked. I would not go back there, certainly not for the conditions and the nightly rate.
