Hotel room was clean and staff were courteous and friendly, but room was smaller than expected.

8/10 Very good

The staff were the highlight of our stay. Breakfast was pretty good as well. Unfortunately, our room was quite small (but that’s the one we chose, so that’s on us), and the gym wasn’t even on site, it was at a neighbouring hotel and it was outside (which was impossible to use in the heat). Overall, a nice stay.

Excellent value for money - nicer hotel than many that cost a lot more. Location excellent - walkable from Termini for trains and buses. Good breakfast. Clean unfussy rooms.

4/10 Fair

The hotel itself wasn’t that bad as the rooms were pretty clean. The location was convenient as it was close to train/bus/metro well as food/shopping. Our issue was that it was miserably hot. We had no air. Asked about it and were told they had changed the system over when it is still 80 degrees. We weren’t offered a fan. Only option was to open a window and the noise outside was so loud and didn’t stop until well after midnight and started back up at 6:00. Between the heat and the noise we got no sleep.

We had a wonderful stay at Modern Hotel in Rome. The customer service was excellent from the moment we arrived. The staff spoke English, which made everything much easier, and everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. The café was also outstanding. The coffee, lattes, and sandwiches were delicious and made for a great start to each day. We truly appreciated how attentive and friendly the team was throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome!

not very easy to locate first time because there are other hotels around. Close to the train station and a little bit small room. But overall it's a great location and choice to stay at Rome

The place was just Ok. the rooms were a bit tight to navigate around and elevator buttons were a little unresponsive sometimes due to being a touch based system. But the location was good and a short walk to shops. It was great being within walking distance to the train station. We even able to roll our large luggage from the hotel to the train station without any problem. The staff were very nice and the morning breakfast buffet was very good.

The staff were very friendly and communicated excellent, they recommended us places to visit and eat. The stay with them was very welcoming and warm. We had easy access to our room and it was very clean as well.

8/10 Very good

The room was clean & staff were lovely. Location was great as it was a short walk away from Termini station or about a 30 min walk on foot to main attractions. Although, the walls are thin so could hear noise from adjacent rooms. The bakery is also not open to the public over weekends, as it’s reserved only for hotel guests who opt for the breakfast option.

This is a great hotel that is in an ideal location. It is only a couple of blocks from the main Rome train station and offers a great hot breakfast with a lot of options 😋 The rooms are clean and modern and the hotel has an upbeat fun vibe.
