This is a special and lovely hotel. Our room was small and full of technical items. The TV was difficult to maneuver without joining a payment plan..... The room was a bit loud because of the AC and a device on the floor that would not turn off. Sounded like a leaf blower outdoors, which was not there in reality. The bathroom light was very bright and came on each time one entered the bathroom,,, which at night was bothersome....... there were no hooks to hang towels on in the bathroom, which were needed. The candles in the room were on all night and should have been turned off with directions left, if that were the case. Staff were very kind and helpful. The grounds and patio were very inviting and clean. They should offer a happy hour in the patio to let guests meet each other and feel relaxed to be staying there....................

This is a great little hotel! Location is perfect- nice and quiet but close walk to everything in town as well as the children’s pool and cove. Staff is very attentive and helpful. The rooms are unique, super comfortable and well appointed. We loved the penthouse with its own rooftop deck.

The property location is great. It's an easy walk to a lot of restaurants (breakfast, lunch and dinner). It's also super close to the beach and the very walkable sidewalk along the beach. The hotel has a lot of extras- from reusable water bottles, collagen peptide packets in room to add to coffee and the best coffee maker ever in the common area and did I mention the in house kombucha and cold brew- both on tap. The outdoor seating area is the perfect place to hang out and chat before retiring for the day. Staff was excellent, too.

Enjoyed our 5 night stay at Orli. The hotel is boutique, modern, spotlessly clean and the staff are fantastic. Always ready to help if needed and proactive at asking if there is anything at all they can help with without being intrusive. The area is lovely, easy to get around, easy to park, has many nice walkable eateries and no issues driving in and around all areas of San Diego from the hotel. I’d go back in a heartbeat which isn’t often I could say that and we are well travelled. Well done Orli team, you have a lovely hotel and manage a great experience for your guests.

This hotel was not for us. It was nice but having to carry our luggage to the second floor ( no elevator) was a big negative since we are in our late 70s and have some health issues. We have never had a room with no closet or ironing board and that was also a negative. It did have a very nice courtyard which we enjoyed. We also liked being able to order beverages from the television screen. I blame myself for not checking the details. That was an expensive mistake.
