Hotel staff are amazing which is why I always stay at the W Atlanta, however, this hotel is under major renovations, the lobby bar is non existant, they have turned the coffee shop into a temporary bar which has minimal seating and the cold and unwelcoming. Tremendous amount of street noise if staying on lower floors. They are turning this into a JW Marriott, and reno's will soon come to an end, but right now, experience was not as I have always been used to. They staff however is AWESOME and apologetic for the current renovations and inconveniences. They have fully renovated all the rooms on each level and have done a nice job with that.
