The property is older but that is no excuse for items of maintenance to not be addressed and remedied. Our bathroom had a ceiling with a hole in it, wood floors that did not join together, towel bar with cracks in the wall.

Communication could have been better
Bar in the basement and their staff is amazing! Pretzels were meh, but everything else we had was fantastic. The bartender was a hoot and very attentive. Had an issue checking in. The staff couldn't find our reservation. She told us to have a seat while she tried to locate it. We sat for a half hour with no response. i finally contacted the third party we booked through and went back up. The desk agent had since found part of our reservation and was manually entering it into the system, but she had never come over to give us an update, just let us sit there.
