The location was perfect with their being a hop-on, hop-off bus stop directly across the streets, the royal mile within close walking distance, and a major car rental close by as well. Great breakfast, wonderful staff and really good location. My only negative comment is the pull down blinds were quite tattered and safe wasn’t working on check in but they replaced safe door right away and taped up blinds to provide darkness in room. They were very responsive to my room issues and everyone I met was beyond nice and helpful. The Scottish breakfast was wonderful!! I 1000% appreciate that they provided my requested room! Thank you!! I will stay there next year because they are such good people!! And good room!

Had a wonderful time and experience at Apex Hotels. Travelled alone with my 3 year old daughter, and we were welcomed with the nicest surprise - balloons! Hotel was great. Conveniently located to Royal Mile and restaurants and shopping. Only complaint was that there was only one working elevator which was also used by staff so long waits at elevator. Once the second one is repaired that problem should be remedied.
