8/10 Very good

Overall we had a good stay. Had a few off days with housekeeping but was always rectified. Front desk was welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good nice selections. Suppers were good. There was definitely 1 server we had the opportunity to have on multiple occasions( Imran). Very pleasant and great service. The pool area was nice we did use it a few times. The hotel as a whole needs some upgrading and safes in the room and a mini fridge!

8/10 Very good

While the hotel is showing its age, it's very clean and the staff are helpful. Bus station to town is just outside the building and the buses are coming regularly. Toiletries are provided, and also tea+ instant coffee, Kitkat bars, Nescafe coffee pods and still+ mineral water bottles . The room was cleaned daily and towels replaced regularly, couldn't have asked for more. The only issue was the Wi-fi, barely getting any signal except close to the window, however I used personal data so it did not affect me much. I would definitely recommend staying here

4/10 Fair

On the outside looks nice. Reception/bar all well presented. The rooms are very dated. Air con rumbled so much it had to be turned off and windows open but then got woken up at 5am because we faced onto car park. Room smelled musty. Light in bathroom flickering constantly. Really doesn't justify price. Breakfast wasgood and staff pleasent.

8/10 Very good

Convenient position, very well connected to public transport or, alternatively, well suited with parking spaces. Courteous staff, rich breakfast and restaurant. Large and clean bedrooms. Not far from airport or city center. Ideal for stop over or long holiday in Edinburgh, for families, groups or singles.

Holiday Inn Edinburgh Zoo was an excellent place to stay. The overall hotel was spotlessly clean and tidy, including the rooms. The restaurant was lovely as well and all staff were brilliant. Location was perfect. Zoo next door which we visited (amazing zoo) and easy access to the city centre with bus stops directly outside and every 10 minutes. Thank you Holiday Inn
