This is a great hotel to stay in, very nicely decorated. The food in the restaurant is top class,though the service is a little slow. The main toilet area off reception was smelling badly, there was a mop left in it. There used to be a fridge in the room, it would be nice If that came back. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

Our stay at Langtons was great, the only thing we would say is the noise from the street can be quite loud as the hotel still has old single glazed windows which don't help to keep the noise out and we stayed at the weekend when it was busy.

Everything about our stay was amazing. The keys in the door were really old and needed to be updated. But other than that. Staff was very helpful , even with our bags and anything else. Parking in rear was amazing. Plus you walk through the rear to the front was so helpful.

We thought we were getting a sleepy B and B type hotel. Could not have been more wrong! Very, very elegant with nice grounds and amenities. Probably the most beautiful hotel on our trip. The only negative I have to add was the breakfast buffet was limited and not very good. Otherwise, it’s in a fantastic location in walking distance to the castle, tons of shops, restaurants and pubs. Kilkenny is a beautiful town with awesome folks. Highly recommend!
