Overall a great stay! The surroundings are beautiful, we had a gorgeous lake view from our standard room, which really made the stay. Very comfy bed, slept well. Great breakfast! Although the room itself was very clean we had dirty linen (pillow case and towel). When we tried to ring reception nobody answered our calls. Bedroom was modern and spacious and was generally well kept and maintained but bathroom was aged.

Another lovely stay at this hotel. We had a lovely 1st floor room with a floor to ceiling view of the lake. Great choice for breakfast. We used the pool & spa, that was an extra £10 each. It was nice when it used to be included in your stay. Pool was a bit on the cold side. Only negative was the noise of people going to bed and chatting down the corridor all through the night, being woken up at 4am with that wasn't great.

Hotel and grounds were amazing, the view are breathtaking. Only let down was the spa for such a large hotel the spa wasn’t big enough. They charge £10 per person for the use of the spa for 1hr. Free if you book a treatment again maximum use 1hr. No where on the hotel description did I see a charge. If I did I probably wouldn’t have booked as we were looking for a spa hotel. Thankfully the weather was wonderful so we enjoyed the surrounding area and hotel grounds.
