Short visit but very relaxing!

We stayed one night between visiting Loutro and going to Rethymno. The hotel is very fresh and well managed. The location is perfect on the walkway at the beach! Balcony direct above the beach and the local restaurant. The hotel restaurant was weary good with nice food and good service. We will for sure come back !

Ett jättefint litet hotell i den lilla byn Chora Sfakia på Kretas sydkust. Vi bokade ett rum med havsutsikt och balkong, dom kallar det "svit" fast det är bara är ett rum. Verkar nyrenoverat, rent och fint med bra dubbelsäng. Och närmare havet kan man inte komma. Lite tidigt på säsongen så allting var inte i ordning än, bl.a. fanns det inte frukost på hotellet. Men bra sådan på ett närliggande bageri. Toppen!

Das Hotel Samaria können wir empfehlen. Die Lage im Hafen von Sfakia ist toll. Das Einchecken ging problemlos und war nach 2 Minuten erledigt. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon mit Blick über den Hafen. Das Zimmer hatte alles, was man für einen Urlaub braucht. Kühlschrank und funktionierendes W-Lan seien hier erwähnt. Das Zimmer war sauber und sehr ruhig; kostenlose Parkplätze stehen zur Verfügung (allerdings muss man 5 Minuten laufen. Direkt vorfahren kann man nicht). Sfakia ist nicht groß, man kann alles zu Fuß erreichen. Zum Hotel gehört ein Restaurant, in dem man gut essen kann.
