This was my second time staying at this hotel, it's a Marriott, so you know to expect excellence as far as service and cleanliness.

The room, while slightly dated in decor, was very clean and spacious and the bed was a dream - one of the most comfortable beds of any hotel I have ever stayed at. The room was dark, cool and comfortable. I almost pulled back the sheets to see what the mattress was!

Bill at the front desk greeted us and was very attentive to everything we needed and even gave us an upgraded room overlooking the capital building because it was our anniversary! We thoroughly enjoyed the location of the hotel as it was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and do in Providence!

8/10 Very good

Hotel in good location with a nice and newly renovated lobby. Other than that, everything is quite dated. The rooms have an old carpet and are pretty sad looking, like the bathroom itself with shower curtains. Definitely needs refurbishing!

I had a great stay at the Renaissance Providence Downtown Hotel. The property was clean, well maintained, and made a great first impression. The bed was very comfortable, which made it easy to relax after a full day of exploring. One of the best parts of staying here was the location. Most restaurants, shops, and attractions were within easy walking distance, so I rarely needed to drive. The staff was also friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions or recommendations. Overall, this hotel provided a comfortable and convenient stay, and I would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Providence.
