Room and hotel dated but clean. Pillows (one each) extremely hard and uncomfortable. Mattress hard but ok. Didn't get round to using pool or spa facilities, which do cost extra. Staff friendly and helpful. Booked room only so can't comment on breakfast, but evening meal was very tasty and good portions. Staff very knowledgeable about allergens. Overall cheap, cheerful and would stay again.

Our stay at Gosforth Park is really good our room is very comfortable and clean all of the staff are very friendly and helpful the breakfasts are nicely prepared and presented and the evening meals are really nice as well as reasonably priced in fact we have just extended our stay for 3 more nights.

a nice location but some of the rooms are quite far from the main building, and require a long walk and meandering route. The spa was OK but closed early on Sunday (not 24 hour) and the breakfast was a bit pricey at £25. I skipped it, however good that's a lot for a breakfast in the north of England.

Check in simple and straightforward with friendly receptionist. Took four teenage boys in the pool and lady on desk was happy and extremely welcoming. A lady was doing a swimming lesson, couples, young families and a rugby team were using the facilities and it was a great atmosphere. Room clean and perfect for an overnight stop over. Would stay again.

We stayed in a suite - very reasonably priced, spacious and well equipped with 2 TVs. Room details said that the bed was King sized - it seemed quite a bit smaller than that, but definitely bigger than a usual double. Chats bar had a good choice of bar meals and snacks. The main restaurant was only opened for breakfast, but there was plenty of choice in surrounding areas like Blyth and Newcastle. Travel around the locality and beyond was good. There was a golf course next door, and getting to Newcastle was easy on the bus when we didn’t want to use the car. Staff were great, always helpful and cheerful, especially the reception and housekeeping teams.
