Never stayed in a place where the staff were so happy to see and assist us. They went out of their way to make our stay a great one. Everything was great and the location outside the noise zone but still was close enough so it wasn’t a haul. This particular Hotel comes highly recommended . Kudos to all.

The room was large and comfortable and warm upon arrival as it was a cold rainy day. I made use of the pool and spa which although not mineral were thermally heated.

The hotel was located on a hill overlooking Lake Taupo as opposed to on the lake. We had a lovely well presented room that featured Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries ( one of my favorite brands) Staying in Lake Taupo was definitely a highlight of our trip.

I liked the amenities that were on hand, staff were friendly the only gripe is that the room I had to share was small but that was due to booking availability. Otherwise I am satisfied with my stay and will most likely stay again.
