If you're visiting the Brazilian side of Iguaçu, the ONLY reason not to stay here is price, as it is beyond many peoples' budgets. Otherwise, it's perfect: a gorgeous hotel in an unbeatable location directly across from the falls. We could see the falls from our room! Also, you are allowed to stay at the falls viewpoints when others are being ushered out at closing time. Excellent breakfast. We dined in the bar and made a fine dinner out of several appetizers. Free champagne on the lawn at sunset. Absolutely superb multilingual staff.

The hotel itself was 5* but the staff were 5*+. You felt welcomed from the minute you walked in. The personal check-in made you feel like you’d just arrived at a party. The hotel itself is superb but the location is beyond words. The private access to The Iguassu Falls early and late in the day is a magical experience and the hotel and staff do their best to make sure that feeling remains throughout your trip. Obrigado.

Amazing location next to the falls. Out of hours access to the falls is amazing allowing you to see the sun rise and set over the falls virtually alone. Breakfast had a huge buffet selection including many local dishes made to order, and able to serve perfect tea and provide cold milk without being prompted. Essential for all English visitors. Fantastic staff and a very well organised hotel. A must go to hotel!

This is a very classy and spectacular hotel. The view of the falls is amazing. It was so fun to have the champaign and watch the falls. There is a nice hike/walk along the bluff. The rooms are exquisite. Best breakfast ever. It was wonderful to see all the tropical birds and the coaties running around. The breakfast and pool areas were amazing. The staff helped us arrange transport to go to the Argentina side and that was really helpful. The only issue is the rooms did not have heat. At least the two rooms that we had. The thermostat only went up to 21. I asked for it to be adjusted. They did so but it did not get warmer. I was cold the first night so I got a heater for the second night, but then it got really hot. I was surprised about this. The young lady who checked us in and helped us was first class. Highly recommend the Belmond.
