The Waimea canyon bike tour was the highlight of our time spent on the south shore. We had come from Princeville after a weeks stay and found the entire island to be beautiful and breathtaking, the aloha spirit was wonderful.

Koloa is small and quiet. It doesn't attract the same crowds as Maui or the Big Island. I love that it feels a little sleepy. The weather is almost always perfect.

Locals mix with tourists, prices are actually lower compared to California
"Such a beautiful hotel check in process was lovely, rooms interconnecting as requested, staff so absolutely lovely. The pool area is flawless - massive choice of pools, lovely warm water, good food and drink choice round the pool. Also open 24 hours so we went for a starlit float down the lazy river which was magic. We ate at every restaurant - Russell in the main restaurant was the nicest guy ever and made it so special, we loved stevesons library, loved tidepools, loved all the shops - just perfect. Yes it’s expensive but worth it. Thank you for the most perfect end to our stay on your beautiful island. "
